Paul’s outdoor kitchens – each one unique

Paul Steman’s journey to the garden kitchen began in the summer of 2003, when his passion for barbecuing and the need to eat outside late in the evening due to the heat led to creative themed evenings with international cuisine. He recognised the problems: a lack of refrigeration for drinks and food and impractical crockery handling.

As a solution, Steman developed his first mobile garden kitchen. At an impressive 2.7 metres long, it had everything he needed, including an instantaneous water heater and a 5-burner gas hob.

Initially, Steman’s garden kitchens were an insider’s tip, presented in his shop at Gut Heimendahl in Kempen and at garden fairs. Despite initial commercial challenges, his enthusiasm remained unbroken.

Over time, Paul Steman expanded his range. He now realises customised outdoor and garden kitchens as well as individual projects under the Privat-Collection brand. The collaboration with a local blacksmith and a stonemason on the Lower Rhine enables customised designs. Each garden kitchen by Paul Steman is a unique piece that reflects the individual wishes and needs of the customer.
